Party Girl Makeover Photoshoots in Liverpool

Kayleigh and her friends Abby, Lydia and Emily joined us today for a Party Girl experience.  Kayleigh had her makeup done as a lesson for the girls to understand what it's best to do for creating a natural look with makeup for young girls.  We then went outside around The Georgian Quarter in Liverpool for a fun photoshoot - the girls came up with some ideas of their own and we all had a great laugh creating fabulous photographs!

Our Party Girl experience is available from £200 for a group of 4 for a half day including refreshments, a makeup lesson, photoshoot and disk of around 50 images ready to print, and up to £400 for a group of 8 girls.  For a full day experience prices start from £350 including makeup for all girls, photoshoot, lunch and a disk of around 80 images ready to print.

Jo's City Girl Makeover Photoshoot

We want to make sure that our products are fabulous and the experience of a makeover photoshoot in Liverpool is an enjoyable one, so every now and then we bring in testers to give us honest feedback - and oh boy can some of them be honest!  Today it was Jo who visited us all the way from Leicester so that she could enjoy a bit of pampering and have her photograph taken.  She kindly gave us feedbak and told us exactly what she thought - which basically boiled down to "Couldn't have asked for better!"  Thank you Jo.

The Official Launch of City Girl Makeover Photoshoots in Liverpool

Thursday evening sees the official launch of City Girl Makeover Photoshoots in Liverpool.  This coming Thursday, 25th November 2010 from 5pm to 8pm we will be opening our doors officially in Liverpool, as Zoe Photography and Sian Louise Auld Makeup, as well as launching our City Girl Makeover Photoshoots. We will also be telling everyone about our ethical business practices, the only photographer in the UK to be taking this stand at the time of writing.

Ethical Supplier Pledge for Makeover Photoshoots

Acting in an ethical way with our clients is really important to us at City Girl.  But what does this actually mean?

1. We pledge never to hard sell - when we quote you a price that is all you will spend.  We will tell you what else you can buy from us if you want to buy more, but you will not be sold anything.
2. We offer one product one price - a makeover, photoshoot and a disk of around 40 images for just £300.  We will not encourage you in with competition wins, introductory offers or conning approaches geared to make you spend more.
3. Any discounts offered, any promotions we do are all genuine offers, genuine promotions.  We do not expect you to buy more, we simply ask you to tell others about your experience of City Girl Makeover Photoshoots.
4. We will not ply you with alcohol to help you lower your guard.
5. We supply usable images with printing rights for you to enjoy - we do not overcharge and the only copyright marks are on web images for use on social networking sites.
6. We want you to have a thoroughly enjoyable experience with City Girl, which means we will work to make sure that we deliver good customer service.
7. If we get it wrong, please tell us, because let's face it, we are human, and we may get things wrong at times.  We will apologise to you without making excuses and we will work with you to put our mistakes right.
8. We will openly help you and guide you - for example, if you are interested in becoming a model then we will provide you with realistic advice.  We will not tell you that you could make it as a model if it's unlikely.
9. We aim to renew, reuse and recycle wherever we can.
10. We respect copyright and intellectual property of other business and artists.
11. We follow distance selling regulations.

How to be a Student Ambassador

We are looking for 3 student ambassadors in Liverpool to help us get the message out to performance students that they can have amazing portfolio images at heavily discounted prices. (See our Student discount page for more information)

What is a Student Ambassador?

1. Being an ambassador is all about getting your friends who are students in music and performance, or maybe they're in a band, the best possible professional photography for their portfolio, web, marketing etc.
2. You enjoy a fabulous extended shoot, styled by Sian Louise and photographed by Zoe who has won numerous prestigious awards from shoots styled by Sian Louise, including Fashion Photographer of the Year and Environmental Portrait Photographer of the year for her amazing work.
3. When you bring in 4 paying referrals for portfolio shoots you are then given your photographs on a disk, print and web ready, as a thank you.
4. Bring in 10 paying referrals, you get £100 of store vouchers for a store of your choice.
5. And if you are an amazing ambassador we give you an amazing thank you - with 20 paying referrals you get an iPad to thank you for all of your hard work.

All ambassadors also receive a reference for use in job searches, stating what work you did working as an ambassador and giving a testimonial of how hard you worked for us.

How do you Become a Student Ambassador for City Girls?

1. We are looking for guys and girls who are students in Liverpool.
2. Drop by and see us between 10 and 4 on weekdays at The Hahnemann, 42 Hope Street, Liverpool, or call us on 0151 708 5838, or drop us an email at zoe@zoephotography.co.uk and we will give you an application form to complete.
3. If you are successful at the application stage you will be invited in for an interview - please be prepared to show us your personality and help us to know how you will be a fabulous ambassador for City Girl.
4. Those who are successful at the interview stage will be booked in for an extended shoot.
5. Start telling everyone about your experience being photographed by one of the best photographers in Liverpool, acting as our ambassador straight away.
6. We need our ambassadors to be working on our behalf by the end of January at the latest.

Fashion Model Portfolio Photographs in Liverpool

With years of experience in photographing models for portfolios and test shoots, as well as commissioned fashion work, Zoe and Sian Louise are offering high quality portfolio and test shoots starting from as little as £150.  We know you can go on modeling sites and find yourself a photographer, but most of these are either amateur photographers or are new to the business, so you can't guarantee the quality of the images you will get.

That's why we promise you that you will receive the best possible quality of modeling portfolio photographs in Liverpool with at least 2 looks so that your portfolio will be as varied as possible.  The images are of a standard that we know will be accepted by model agencies.

Testers Places Filling up for City Girl Makeover Photo Shoots

Remember we asked for testers, well, it's not taking long for the spots to be snatched up!  If you are interested in being one of our testers, or being part of one of our test groups then we need to hear from you very soon.  And please note that we will not be pushing anything onto you, you don't have to buy, we are simply after help from testers to guide us how to make sure we are providing the best possible products for the best possible price in the best possible way.

So that you don't have to go off hunting for the original tester blog post here is what we are asking for:

Mim's makeover and photo shoot was a gift from her husband who wanted her to know how beautiful he thinks she is, and how much more he loves her each day (aren't some guys so sweet!).  We did it out in the countryside on the outskirts of Liverpool, so not exactly a City Girl shoot, but we can stretch the context a bit, can't we?  Mim has never modeled but she really looks as though she could have spent her life modeling with these shots!

Amanda was our first City Girl since taking over our new boutique studio (and we haven't even moved in yet!) so it seemed fitting to feature her before some of our previous makeover clients who have had photo shoots with Zoe and Sian.  Some of you may have seen our gorgeous photographs of Amanda on Zoe's blog, but just in case you haven't, here is a taste of what you can expect when you have your City Girl Makeover Photo Shoot in Liverpool.

Boudoir Photo Shoots and Portrait Sessions in Liverpool

What makes for a fabulous makeover photo shoot?

There are a lot of photographers doing makeover photo shoots and it's noticable that most of these photographers take the word 'makeover' to the extreme with women in their 40s and 50s being made to look plastic or as if they are only about 25 years old, but not in a natural way.

With City Girl Makeovers we believe in helping you be the best possible version of you that you are today, giving you the chance to be more gorgeous than you imagined you can look, to feel the best you can feel, and to still be you.  Sure, we apply a bit of photoshoppery, we can use a little secret tool here, and a teeny secret tool there, just not to the point where you look plastic or unnatural. 

We also shoot in different locations - so instead of the mock up of a location, or a soulless white background with City Girl Makeover Photo Shoots we go out on location, treating you like a real model on a fashion shoot, creating very real, fashion-styled images using our experience of working in the fashion industry.

So what does make for a fabulous makeover photo shoot?  With City Girl Makeovers Sian Louise applies your makeup in a way that compliments you, enhancing the best of your features, working with your skin tones, and creating a look that is natural and beautiful.  She also works with styling your hair to look like you've just walked out of the salon.
